She’s so cute, especially at the end with that smile about his possible longevity. This woman is an angel, I’m so glad they found each other. Sweetest story! She said her dog died two weeks after she adopted the bird. She had another animal to show love to while she grieved her dog – the bird. What a wonderful story. i love how she shows that even a small “insignificant” animal has rich emotions and personality. we just have to listen. Edit: Several people complained about me using the word “insignificant.” Let me clarify: I do NOT think they’re insignificant. In fact, I own birds and teach people around me just how much personality and emotions they have. When I say insignificant, I meant how MOST people see them. Unfortunately, most people appreciate cats and dogs, but not birds. Before me, many of my friends/family think birds are 2-dimensional animals with no feelings. But I’m glad people are starting to appreciate them more. Anyway, stop telling me birds are not insignificant, I KNOW that. Go tell people around you.
